OUR WAY TO NEW LIFE |

the water was poured, a covenant was established with God promising Eternal Life. Once again we passed through this door to receive the Lord Jesus for the first time and to experience the beauty of His forgiveness. Also through this door we assembled to be overshadowed by the power of the Holy Spirit and blessed with the gifts that would carry us through the rest of our lives. In due time, we passed this door once again and stood before this altar to promise our love to our spouses for life. When the sting of death touched us, we passed this door to seek the compassion and strength of our God. |
through this door to be alone and simply kneel before His presence. We call upon the power of Our God to bless us with the gifts we need to live out the Gospel preached by His Son. Our Prayer in Preparation for the Third Christian Millennium
The
Magnificat
My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God My Saviour;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His
handmaid;
for, behold henceforth all generations shall
call me blessed.
Because He who is mighty has done great things
for me,
and holy is His Name; And His mercy is from
generation
to generation to those who fear Him.
He has shown might with His arm;
He has scattered the proud in the conceit
of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and He has exalted the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich He has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel,
His servant, mindful of His mercy,
Even as He spoke to our fathers,
to Abraham, and to His posterity forever.
AMEN
